Can I switch plans later?
Yes! Upgrade or downgrade anytime. An upgrade takes effect as soon as its payment goes through. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
What counts as an "AI word"?
Any text generated by the AI assistant counts toward your limit. This includes chapter drafts, pipeline suggestions, and autopilot output. Your own typing doesn't count, and nor does a manuscript you import. On a paid plan the allowance resets when your monthly payment goes through, and unused words do not carry over. The free allowance is one-off and does not renew.
Is my work secure?
Your books are stored with row-level security, so no other customer can see them. Your work stays yours: nothing is ever sold, and everything is kept in house. To write for you, the text you submit is processed by our AI providers, which is how the writing is generated. A small number of Inkflow staff may check work for quality control, and to make sure it meets our content rules or to fix a problem you report; each check is recorded. Section 5 of our privacy policy has the details.
Can I export my books?
Yes. Every plan, the free one included, downloads DOCX, EPUB and PDF; the free plan downloads its three chapters. The KDP paperback interior and the cover PDF come with a paid plan. Your writing is always yours.
